I woke up to the funniest sight this morning…. We are still struggling to get Taryn to stay in her bed. We do good until about 2-3 am, when we’re just too tired and cave in and let her come sleep with us. Well, I woke up this morning to Taryn sitting up between us, just chatting away. I look over at Jason who is still sound asleep and he has her cowgirl hat on! LOL! at the Stradtner house….and what do we find? a baby who absolutely refuses to stay in her bed…but it just way too tired to roam around her room for even one more minute!! LOL!!!! Jason came running into the living room to get me when he found her like this….totally konked out. She didn’t budge when I snapped the picture, flash and all, or when he picked her up and put her back into her bed. Funny girl.

I have been feeling some mommy guilt lately that I don’t have a baby book for Taryn. Second child syndrome combined with hurricane katrina overload maybe? This blog is the closest thing I’ve got, so please bear with me as I post a few things about her. I can always go back and print out my blog, that counts right?! Here’s my Ty. I still have an entire session with him I haven’t proofed yet, but I dug just one out today. When Ty was born his tongue was attached to the very end. Kevin and I made the decision to not have it clipped to try and avoid nursing problems with a brand new baby. Well, it’s always bothered him, and about a month ago he tore it just a little. Enough to hurt really bad and keep him from talking and eating. We brought him to the doctor and he was put on some anti-biotics to fend off infection along with a local anesthetic. We were referred to an ENT and finally got in to see him yesterday. […]
