Seaworld
Our goal was to arrive in San Antonio at 9 am when the park opened, but in true "parents of a newborn" fashion, we had some trouble getting out of the house and didn’t get there until 2 pm. HA! But even with our late and chaotic start, we got there and had a blast. We only ventured into about 1/2 of the park, I’m so excited we bought season tickets, we’ll be going back lots! A couple of memories stand out the most… Taryn loved her purple bracelet that let everyone manning the rides know how tall she was. It was purple and very cool. She was just tall enough to go on the rides a level above the […]
just a quick one
Just a quick post this morning. We are d r a g g i n g this morning after a very long, but fun trip to SeaWorld in San Antonio yesterday. It was 11 pm before we got home and we are so tired today! The kids had a blast and the best part is we bought season passes so we’ll be going back all summer long! I took a ton of pics too but they are all still sitting on the card, in the camera. Here are a few more from my shoot on Saturday with Beth and her husband….I’m still sorting through them but have so many favorites already….I love that even though you can’t see their faces, […]
oh so young and in love
Just got home after photographing our contest winner, Beth C. She and her husband were so much fun! I had to pull a few while downloading….and my first thought when I saw this was "oh so young and in love". Thanks for a great time guys, more to come! I’ll go way over the promised 10-15 images!

odds and ends from this week
So her, I love it when she sits like this…she does it all the time. So them. Every night, after baths, they rock, its their time. Love my boys. Out of the blue, she started counting to 5 in Spanish. She’s an amazing sponge. Thank you Dora the Explorer 😉 My girl…it was a bit of a rough week for her. Being 2 is tough stuff. A glimmer of a grin. And finally, a bit of the real thing, in real time! Happy Weekend!
blog maintenance
We’re doing a little house cleaning around here tonight, the blog may look funny, act funny or you might not be able to see anything. Hopefully things go smoothly and we’re up and running again soon! Important to note: The link to this blog has changed. The previous address referenced Giggles-n-Grins Photography. With our move to Texas, we decided to change the name of the business as well, to Life in Motion Photography. I didn’t want to give up over a year of blogging when I gave up the GnG name, so Jase did a few things to make it work through domain mapping. Basically what this means is that I get to keep my blog the same but with […]
