Coos Bay was an unplanned stop when we rerouted due to heat. We are SO glad we stopped here and we landed at the most amazing resort. It backed up right to the beach, the tide pools were so abundant and it was like having a private beach! We are already trying to figure out ways that we can go back!
Crate Lake in Oregon was absolutely beautiful and our visit there is one we won’t soon forget. Thanks to the kindness of strangers we had a day filled with wonderful memories. And a few WIPEOUTS!
Lassen wasn’t high on our visit list – in fact I had never even heard of it before we got to California. But we are SO glad we made this stop! The kids got to play in the snow, in June! And the scenery was just completely gorgeous on the drive up!
While in Tahoe we ventured out to the National Auto Museum in Reno and the cute little town of Virginia City. Reno didn’t exactly go as planned and this video shows the real side of adventuring with a high needs toddler. We edited out most of the screaming, you’re welcome 😉
Follow along on our adventure as we brave the beautiful but chilly waters of Lake Tahoe.
