Real life: full time travel is not always easy. We have off days where some or all of us are cranky. Day 1 in Washington DC is definitely one of those. Add in some rain and some transportation challenges and this video shows you that while this lifestyle is fun, its not aways easy traveling with kids. We hit the National Archives to see the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence! Do you think the real ones are on display? We also snuck in a few minutes at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum!

Follow along as we visit historic Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. This town is incredible, it’s living history. We managed to experience it for free and it was a roadschool win! Also, one of our most difficult travel days yet….we threw in the towel and gave up. Sometimes it is just better to start fresh the next day. And we landed in the most incredible, huge, spot for the night on accident.
