My baby girl is really, really not a baby anymore.  I can’t believe 6 years have gone by.  What a wild ride it has been.  Fun, exasperating, challenging, fun, did I say fun?  She’s this crazy mix of a kid, warm, loving, snuggly.  Painfully shy, yet bold.  Funny, yet reserved.  Above all, she is very, very soft hearted.  She loves animals more than anything in the world, she always has.  She’s just like her daddy in that way, and he’s just like his grandpa.  We all predict she’ll be a tree hugger who changes the world some day.  She loves to think up ways to reuse things, loves the earth, digging in the dirt, being outside, soaking up the sun.  […]

My husband gasped out loud the other day that I have over 2700 photos on my iphone.  Yeah.  Sad part is, I haven’t backed any of them up or moved anything off since last November.  Bad.  So tonight I decided to do just that while editing.  I thought it would be fun to pull a few things off of it for a 6 on Tuesday iphone roundup post.  You’ve been forewarned of crappy photography and an uncut look in to our family, way more than you probably ever wanted to know, so there.

seeking peace, looking back to last november

While looking through my external drive from last year for something tonight I realized I never posted or shared these.  They are just family snapshots.  I remember this day as a gift.  The kids and I had been running ragged, I was exhausted, I hadn’t even had a shower.  Teagan was improving, but still very sick at this point.  God graced us with a good (no demyelination, etc.) day.  Sans him having some major gut issues that morning, he was having a good day and I immediately knew I needed to get out of the house and where I wanted to go.  […]
