I have a new employee.  Well, if you call since October “new”.  Ty has been officially working for Life in Motion and has been on the payroll since October of last year.  And let me tell you, I absolutely could not have made it through a very, very busy season without him.  He’s been working behind the scenes doing all sorts of things to help me keep things organized and running smoothly.  He’s done a wonderful job and far exceeded any expectations I had about us working together.  He’s been very mature, very responsible, very trustworthy.  He has a set of tasks to do for each client and so far he does it with a smile, ahead of schedule and […]

10 to catch up…

1.  Finally attempting to crawl out from under a rock and rejoin the land of blogging and working again.  I realized today I hadn’t posted a single thing in weeks about what has been going on with me and mine.  Our Christmas was a good one.  We succeeded in keeping things simple this year.  We enjoyed hosting Jason’s parents, grandparents and brother for Christmas.  I gave myself the gift of getting out of cooking by ordering dinner for 10 from Whole Foods.  We may have played a funny, but dirty, little trick on our family relating to the food.  We got them good!  HA!  I think it ended up being cheaper than it would have been to buy all […]

pesky penguin stole bob’s hat and other happenings….

2010-12-19T22:30:27-06:00December 19th, 2010|Elf on a Shelf, My Family|

Bob has been a busy guy hanging out on our non-toxic, non-offgasing, makeshift “garland”.  He also had to go on a rescue mission, darned pesky penguin stole his hat, of all the nerve!  And the other night the kids asked if Bob could go with us when we were heading out in our PJ’s to look at Christmas lights.  They were thrilled that he got a frontrow “seat”!  HA!

If you are local, we followed this map for Christmas lights and it was totally worth it.  Teagan picked the #3 on the list as his top choice before we even left the house and it was by far the best one […]
