That tongue. He kills me. It’s his new *thing*. And he’s very ticklish. Especially on his sides and his back. He often cracks up laughing through his chiropractic adjustments. You can pinch those chubby little thighs and he’ll let out a big belly laugh. It’s my favorite.
I’m trying to do better about getting on the other side of the camera. I realized last Wednesday that I haven’t done that a whole lot with the good camera. Since Ty was home on early release that day, I handed him the camera, cuddled up to my baby boy and less than 5 minutes later I had these. Ty did awesome. And even when I’m super critical of myself, I know that when Jonah looks at these, he will see his momma who loves him.

I spent my day editing and then Ty and I hit the gym together this afternoon. Jase took the little kids to the park to burn off some energy. Much needed outside time as it’s been really windy and/or raining for a few days. Jonah got to go in the swing at our neighborhood park for the first time. I’m pretty sure he liked it. My big boy is growing way too fast.
Again with the posing. Little stinker.
My favorite moment today was handing him over to Ty so I could go to the bathroom. I turned to look at them as I rounded the corner and saw Ty holding Jonah, dancing around the living room along to the music playing on TV. And Jonah was smiling up at him with wide, happy, eyes. And my heart melted.
My sweet little “Mister” turned 4 months old today. How is that 4 months have gone by so incredibly quickly?! It’s hard now to even remember what it was like before he was here. He’s finding his place in this family with his sweet, easy going, happy little personality. Taryn nicknamed him “Mister” and it stuck. It fits him well. He’s been rolling over belly to back for quite some time, but has yet to venture back to belly yet. He loves to sit and stand on our laps. He’s the most ticklish on his back and sides. My sweet little baby loves the camera. Little poser. He makes me laugh. And he makes me want to do nothing but photograph him all day long. He’s so dreamy.
