I managed to catch him mid giggle yesterday.  He started the whole silent laugh thing about a week ago.  It’s so freaking cute.  He’d open his mouth wide and move like he was laughing, but no noise would come out.  He and Jase have a routine that every night after we finish dinner, Jonah sits on the dining room table facing Jase, they take about their day, Jonah smiles, etc.  They’ve been working on adding sound effects to Jonah’s silent laugh.  Sure enough, the last few days he’s been letting out giggles and a squeal or two.  It’s so freaking cute.  By chance, I caught one while photographing him yesterday afternoon.  […]

Mid-pregnancy I fell off the 365 wagon.  I hate that, because of all the photographs I take of my family, those mean the most to me.  Simple, imperfect, little moments from each day, all year long.  So at the end of my pregnancy while we were still in wait mode, and then before I started back to work I sat down and backtracked quite a bit.  I didn’t pick up my camera near enough between July and October, but I had a ton of iphone pics.  They will just have to be good enough, with a few good camera photos thrown in here and there, for that part of our life […]
