Heather and her family mean the world to me.  She was there when Jonah was born and I got to photography this little beauties birth last year.  Her first year just flew by and when she turned one I was so happy to get her and her loving sisters in front of my camera to celebrate.  And can’t you just hear the little girl giggles through the screen?!

One of the biggest blessings of the trip to my mom’s house this past summer was getting to see this family.  Carrie was my very best friend in junior high.  Oh man, we, were, uh, usually up to no good!  Look at us now though, two homeschooling crunchy mommas who love God deeply.  So fun to catch up and meet her guys.  Our kids clicked right away and had a blast together.  It was a quick visit but I’m so thankful we got to see them again – they made the trip through Austin and stopped for the night just before Christmas.  The kids picked up right where they left off.  In […]

My people.  Also known as the Lee’s.  Chris is my step-brother, Larry’s son and I just adore him and his family.  I can’t believe I’ve been in business for 10 years and this is the first time they have been in front of my camera as a family!  I have to tell you, I loved hearing Dana cry because she loved these so much!  Capturing my own is so special and I absolutely loved gifting them this session.  And can we talk for a minute about how beautiful these children are?!  And they are the best cousins to my kids ever.  Jonah is so smitten with Audrey, he thinks she hung the […]

orange_beach_alabama_family_photographerRhonda, one of my mom’s Sea Sisters, booked a family session while we were in Alabama in August.  It was so fun capturing her family.  She absolutely adores her family and especially her grandchildren.  And I’m not going to name any names, but *someone* ate their weight in sand.  😉  And I have to say, some of my faves from this session are from after we were “done”, the boys played.

I’ve been blessed to photograph this sweet family several times in the last couple of years and it’s always an adventure.  When they found out they were moving, we snuck in a quick session just before they were due to leave town.  In fact, I think they left the very next day!  It was so hard to say goodbye.  Emily is one of the sweetest, down to earth, real, women you’ll meet.  She instantly felt like a friend.  I’m more than a little sad they moved before #4 arrived!  I guess that’s a good thing about living in Austin, everyone loves it here so much, it’s rare for people to leave!  I […]
