10 on Tuesday on: a secret, parenting advice from a toddler & getting busted

1. Tuesday is now officially the busiest day of the week at our house. I think I’ll start calling it “this day is going to kick my butt Tuesday” for short. Up early, big kids off to school, music class with the duder, trip to People Rx, home for lunch, quick nap for Teagan (I almost always have to wake him up, bummer), leave for carpool to pick up Taryn, back home to fix a quick early dinner and then back out to go watch Ty play football. unexpected take two | salado family photographer

My second unexpected, super short notice session for this weekend took place this morning in my absolute favorite location! This beautiful family is from Waco and when I found out where they live I happily offered to meet them in the middle in Salado because I adore shooting there. We went exploring by the river (it was actually moving water instead of puddles with all the recent rain!) and then hit a few of my favorite spots around Salado. My schedule went wonky this week. Not just a little wonky, a lot wonky. But sometimes wonky works out great. Both of my clients for today and Sunday were moved to different days at their request so that left me with two openings this weekend. I threw them up on the blog/facebook and they went quick (yay!).
