That middle child though! Middle children are some of my favorite to photograph! Seriously, I love photographing this family, so much fun!! Both mom and dad are musicians and it was fun to catch up with the kids and hear about their interests, they’ve grown so much!
These people have my heart. I first met them 14 years ago when my sweet client, Julie Applewhite, wife of assistant UT football coach Major Applewhite, asked me if I would be interested in doing some charity work for a family Mack and Sally Brown were raising money for. I had no idea the first time I met these 4 that I would still be photographing them all this time later. We have shared so many laughs and prayers, what a huge blessing they are! These now young adults have big beautiful hearts and a faith in God we should all strive for. This first image might be my most favorite image of them ever….the power of prayer!
My sweet friend Tara has been a photographer in Austin for many years with Life is Sweet Photo Boutique. She retired a few years ago and I will admit, I was a little sad because I absolutely love the way she captures my family! She’s taken our family photos before and was present for Zachary’s birth and newborn session. I treasure every photo she’s ever taken of us.
