three things that made me smile….

1. Tonight Taryn and Jason had a daddy daughter date night. They took off to Toys R Us to spend her giftcard she got for her birthday, then they were to head to dinner. She got to pick and she said she wanted “meatballs”. Jase called me from the road midroute, thinking they would be eating italian….nope, not our girl, she wanted IKEA meatballs. I love that kid so much. She makes me laugh.

Last night was rough. Jase and I didn’t make our way to bed until around 2:30ish. Then Taryn woke up at 3, decided to go in and wake up Teagan by screaming his name at his door. Not cool. He freaked out and started screaming. Jase and I each take one kid to get them back to sleep. Somehow we ended up with both of them in bed with us. Rounding out the Slidell mini sessions is my little buddy Aiden. I’ve been photographing Aiden since he was a tiny little baby. I don’t think I blogged his newborn session, I couldn’t find it, but here he is at 6 months and then his mini last year. I was so thrilled when they booked a mini during my trip back to Louisiana. Always animated, always cute, but I was not ready to have the tables turned on me right out of the gate!! He’s pretty good too!!!

Uh, let me just go ahead and say this now so we can move on. I LOVE HIS HAIR. LOVE IT.

friday night randomness….

well, technically it’s saturday early am since it is past midnight, but it’s nowhere near my bedtime just yet, so I’m going to say it is still Friday for my own sake. and there ya go.

1. So excited to see so many people throwing their cities in the mix here and over on the Facebook fan page. Looks like Seattle, Chicago and maybe Nashville are in the lead….I haven’t done an official count so keep them coming if you think you’d be interested in a session. No official dates have been set yet but I’m thinking either the fall or January due to my birth schedule and being on call. I’m excited to plan it all out….
