I had the joy of photographing a brand new little one this morning. Which also means that this little beauty is now a big sister!

When no one else was around this morning baby Ryan whispered a little secret in my ear. He asked me to wish his grandmother, who turns 70 today, a very happy birthday. Then he gave me a little wink! if jack could talk, he’d be all “WTH?!”

and I can’t really blame him, it was slimey in there!

i had an image in my mind and this isn’t it, but it still makes me laugh. and just for the record, these photos are several weeks old (they’ve been in my blog que for awhile) and he’s totally forgotten about me for stripping him down and sticking him in a slimey old pumpkin. whew! it’s a good thing babies don’t hold grudges or i’d be in big trouble.

Today we celebrated Jason’s 32nd birthday. After picking up Ty from school, we ran a few errands and were going to stop to pick up dinner. I called home to get everyone’s ‘order’. Jase gave me his, Taryn started yelling her order into the phone and then all of a sudden Teagan yells out “ketchup!!” “ketchup!!” “MOMMA KETCHUP!!!!!” Do you think this kid likes to dip stuff or what? Funny little guy…..

I absolutely love this session, I had a hard time figuring out what to share. Jane is so sweet and bright. She’s filled with a million expressions and just such a happy girl. I was so hoping to capture that during our first session of many in the year to come.

Fall has managed to find it’s way to Central Texas and our house. To this I say ‘Thank God’ and ‘Adios 110 temps!’

I love this time of year. So crisp, the smells, the fresh air, temps you can actually go outside in, pumpkin spice latte’s, fall crafts and projects. Our family embraces it in a big way….
