I had this adorable little family on my calendar for a long time and was so excited when it was finally their turn! I soooo wanted to do a good job for them as we’d all been looking forward to it for so long!
I love his nickname too….”Little”….how cute is that?!

I was so honored when Elizabeth booked a session with me before starting out on a new grand adventure. I still can’t get over the fact that they have known one another since pre-k. How amazing is that?! Love it…..
I love that i was able to convince them to show me some of their dancin’ moves down on the bridge! I was impressed!

Little dude was out of sorts today. He said momma over and over and over (and over). Just cause. His binky and blankie were a constant. He’s running and playing and seems to feel fine. Just a little more clingy and uhm, how shall we say it, grumpy….

I just finished their gallery last night and while this wasn’t the shot I intended when I clicked the shutter, as I thumbed through their proofs, it struck me right away. The way she’s looking at him gets me. I remember that feeling so strongly….those early days where you fall in love with your husband in a new way you never even imagined or dreamed that you would….seeing him as a father. It’s just one of the heart swelling moments that come along with being a new mom. As if having a new baby wasn’t blessing enough, you get this other whole new person to love too, the daddy….
