This session, oh this poor session.  It was booked quite some time ago and everything has worked against us from the weather, rain, a freak wind storm, the dad’s schedule, a stomach bug for me, you name it, it happened and thwarted our plans.  But finally, today, after all the anticipation, I finally got to meet this wonderful family.

The weather was gorgeous (we’d earned it, believe me) and when we walked out to the […]

Senior Rep: Caitlin, Cedar Park High School | Cedar Park Senior Photographer

I am excited to share a few photos from my session tonight, Caitlin is absolutely gorgeous and wow does the camera love her!  Caitlin is my Senior Rep for Cedar Park High School and I can’t think of a better person to represent Life in Motion Photography!  She is outgoing, friendly, and just the sweetest person you could meet.  And did I mention gorgeous….yeah…

Katie Astoria of Modern Muse Makeup Artistry did such an amazing job on her makeup.  Katie rocks.  I highly recommend using her for any type of photo session!

Man I had a hard time narrowing down what to show […]

Jack turns 1

Alternate title:  Holy moly did that go by fast!

One.  I can’t believe it has been almost a year.  I think I’m in denial *almost* as much as his momma.  He’s had an awesome first year and it has been a joy to watch and capture as Lily became a great big sister and two of our dearest friends embraced parenting one of the sweetest little boys ever.  He’s going to be off and running and keeping up with the big kids any day now.  So hard to believe since it feels like this was just the other day.  Alli and I snuck out of the house bright and early this morning (much to both Taryn & Lily’s dismay – […]

birthday boys | austin lifestyle family photographer

There are sessions that I can’t wait to run home and download and absorb the images one by one.  This was one of those!  In fact, I couldn’t even wait until I got home….I thumbed through my memory cards, image by image, sitting in the parking lot at the location….

Their pre-session client survey indicated green in their images, architecture, coy smiles, happy little boys, big blue eyes, laughs and a whole lot of love.  And that is exactly what they showed up with and shared with me.  Love it!  Larisa & Greg, it was so great to spend the morning with your family….thank you for trusting me when I said “hey, […]

full circle

All the pieces had to fall just right for this quick little session Tuesday night.  First and foremost, this momma had to fend off early labor and bedrest and get this baby to stay put just a bit longer.  She did it and I was still really nervous that I wouldn’t be able to catch a few maternity photos of her before their baby arrived.  Monday was her her goal and I hightailed it out there Tuesday evening about 3 seconds after Jason walked in the door from work.  And don’t you know it rained the entire way there, I got there, no rain, we got some great shots, I got in my car and not 1/2 a mile from […]
