If there is one thing I absolutely love about my job it is watching families grow. It seems like yesterday I was at their house photographing big brother as a newborn. There are so many things I love about this session, simple, filled with love and beautiful moments. I love that she has sweet chubby cheeks, just like her big brother did. I finally caught her in the act. She’s been opening doors for a few months and it freaks me out every.single.time. Mostly because we have an alarm and it makes it beep alerting me one of the doors has been opened. My heart jumps because it means one of the kids went outside unattended without me know or someone (or now somedog) came in. Of course I quickly realize it’s her simply because she storms inside like an F5 tornado, there is no mistaking the presence of The Beast. She’s smart. Really smart. Maggie, Maggie Mae, Mags, The Beast. Hasn’t she grown?! Almost 6 months old, huge and figuring out the ways of the world and our little family. She’s smart, sometimes too smart. Even though she’s been doing it for weeks, every single time I see or hear her open a door with her paw it freaks me out. I have been blessed with the most amazing clients that make it so incredibly easy for me to love my job. This sweet family is no exception, they make me smile every single time I see them. Our time together is always relaxed, easy, honest and real. She’s a daddy’s girl, silly, sweet, happy. Their client survey requested two things, shots showing how sweet she is and a photo capturing her walking, preferably of the 3 of them walking away. Or maybe not away, just into the 2nd year that is sure to be filled with tons of laughter and love. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
