moving along

I’ve been itching to get back to a more real life, photo of the day, feel to my blogging.  The glorious first two “sleepy” weeks with Teagan are over and he’s starting to wake up a little more (as I type this one handed while he snoozes on my chest – but you guys know what I mean).  So, the fetal position and easy to work with and position newborn will start to fade, and with it, the more formal portraits.  No bother, he still can’t get up and run away from me like the other two just yet, so its all good.

2 weeks old

What we’ve figured out in a mere 14 days… He’s an eater.  He eats, and eats, and eats.  I secretly love it (although I’d forgotten just how exhausting it is to nurse a newborn). He’s a grunter.  He’s a loud little baby, he grunts all the time.  For no particular reason other than to just grunt. He’s taking after his sister in being born with dark hair, then loosing it to be replaced with a lighter variety. He’s a snuggler.  It melts my heart when his little hand reaches up for my finger to hold onto while nursing. Taryn has always been Little T, or just T or "Peanut"…just pick one and she’ll come running.  We don’t actually call Ty "Big T"….but I love this just the same. and then of course, there is… That’s the front of the shirts, but the best part is one the back… My favorite. And a few out takes.  The big one and the little one broke out in dance mid session =) Shake it baby, shake it! Throwing this one in too, just because I love it… Thanks Mom for helping me with the shirts!  I think they are hilarious!
