Joan’s 2nd Birthday Party

When Jennifer asked me to photograph the girls birthday parties this year, I was thrilled. She throws amazing parties and it was SO much fun! Joan had a ball theme and she used circles and balls everywhere. Right down to the coaches that came to play ball with the kids, the bubble machine and the huge ball pit. Little Monsters Bash 2011 | CureDuchenne

FUN! That is the first word that comes to mind as I sit down and write this blog post. I won’t lie, holding a charity event, in the middle of my most busy time for work, feels a little crazy at times. Especially right before when everything needs to be done and just right. My little buddy has grown so much since last year! Hanging out with this fam is one of my favorite things to do each fall. Our time together is always so relaxed and well, just, easy. I love that! We all laid in the grass, visiting, chatting, and oh yeah, we took a few pictures too 😉

He was just so dreamy. What an absolutely adorable way to start the day. 2, already? wow.

Yesterday was a crazy blur of a day between kids, OT for Taryn, and then my annual big fundraiser, The Little Monsters Bash in the afternoon/evening. It was SO much fun!! I just loved seeing all my little friends in their costumes. I’ll be posting much more about the event that benefits CureDuchenne in my friend Timmy’s name. It was a big success and we raised a lot of money thanks to my very generous clients! Photos coming soon!

Really awesome stuff.

My sleepy boy, still enjoying his afternoon naps. His favorite thing to do when he wakes up is to sneak up on me and yell BOO!

The other day, I yelled out in the house “Duder, what are you doing?”

He yelled back “STUFF! Really Awwwesome stuff!”

Ok then.
