We just got back from a week of vacation on the Frio River last night and I’ll be by to blog our trip. Until then, feast your eyes on this little sweetie. Watching his big brother love on him this morning was seriously just the sweetest thing.
For the first time in 8 years of business, we are unplugging. 4 days of no internet, no phones, no texting. While I’m looking forward to it, it is also pretty unnerving to unplug for the first time. We run 3 businesses primarily online and it’s such a huge part of our lives to put down and walk away. But I’m thrilled to be taking time to reconnect with my family. I’ll be back on Friday. Ty gets all the good snuggles these days. This lasted at least 10 minutes. Lucky boys. These two are best buds and it’s so much fun to watch.
I was looking through some old posts the other day and realized at Jonah’s age, Jude was already using our little white toddler table. So I had Ty go dig it out from under a pile of Legos in Jude’s room and set it up in our dining room. Since then, he’s been obsessed with climbing up and sitting on the chairs and coloring. It’s keeping my very busy boy occupied for more than 30 seconds at a time. Winning!
I got brave and decided to venture out and take my own kids to frolic in the bluebonnets and capture them. The light was so pretty, all warm and glowing. And they did awesome. It reminded me that I need to take them out for photos together more often. I’ve been seriously slacking in that department, relying on my iphone and Samsung 300nx (which I looooove btw). Life is busy. Jonah is uber busy lol. They were awfully good to me this night. The first photo, is just so them, their personalities embodied. And the last one WILL be big in my house somewhere. […]
This family has just a ton of love and I’m super excited I get to see them again (tonight actually!). The baby chub, it makes you want to just reach out and pinch your screen doesn’t it? I mean, really. ::::pinch pinch::::
