This momma is getting an extra little sneak peek tonight since I’m a little behind on getting galleries out.  My laptop took a swim in some coconut shampoo months ago (don’t ask) and it’s never been the same since.  It’s been in the shop so many time, I’ve lost count, but 4 times just in the last month or so.  Make that 5, it’s going back AGAIN tomorrow.  I need to just break down and buy a new one but man it hurts.  Macs are expensive!  Anyway, this momma deserves an extra peek for being so patient with me!  Could these two be any cuter?!?!  Seriously.

Thank you to all the mommas and nurslings who came out to our charity event benefiting the Central Texas Birth Center Open Arms Program in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week.  We raised $700 to help low income mothers.  Mommas helping mommas, it doesn’t get any better than that.  I love being a community of women who support one another and lift one another up.  Just one little sneak peek tonight but I’ll come back and share more during the week.  This one jumped out at me….happy, light, beautiful.

Ms. Riley | Georgetown Texas Newborn Photographer

heather_hilton_midwife_newborn_baby

This sweet baby girl holds a special place in my heart, as does her momma.  Heather was my midwife who helped deliver Jonah at his home birth almost 2 (wha?!?!) years ago.  Heather is now a dear friend and I’ve been anticipating this little ones arrival!  I was lucky enough to photograph her birth and now her newborn session.  She is beautiful and perfect in every way and I’m so very thrilled for my sweet friend and her family.  Ms. Riley has 5 siblings to love on her and boy do they ever!  She is such a blessing and so *very* cherished.  And I’m kind of in love with this photo.  Heather […]

Sweet little Charlotte was so good for her session this weekend.  I photographed her big sister as a newborn 3 years ago.  Their sibling photos make me swoon, I’ll definitely come back and share them!

(ps.  Some time ago I started to only do sneak peeks on facebook.  I’m having a love/(mostly) hate relationship with facebook lately.  I deleted the FB app because I discovered the newest update gave them access to read my texts.  I had ads specific to certain text conversations, and it just felt…..creepy, so I deleted the app.  The result as been that I’ve been on FB much, much less.  This is a good thing for me personally and […]

Homemade Remineralizing Immune Boosting Tooth Paste

In an effort to save money I started making my own toothpaste a few months ago.  With 6 people in this house, we can easily go through 6+ tubes a month.  At $4+ each for natural, fluoride free toothpaste, it definitely adds up.  Who wants to spend $288 a year on toothpaste?!  Not this girl!  Plus keeping track of who likes what flavor stresses me out.  And honestly, even with the fluoride free stuff, I didn’t love the ingredients of store bought tooth paste.  I put off making my own for a long time but I totally regret that because it is SO EASY.  Less than 5 minutes and you are done.  I wrote out the recipe and my kids […]
