It broke my heart and I cried when Lisa emailed to tell me that Mathilde is fading a bit. They wanted a location this year that really meant something to them. Spending time with Mathilde on the trails at Zilker Park downtown holds so many memories for them, it was just the right spot. I loved photographing her and her people here. Not to mention the fact that we brought their new cat to an area filled with dogs lol! Poor kitty!
Tara is a fellow Austin photographer and she photographed my family 2 falls ago. He’s a huge reason we’ve reached so many people on both websites and I’m truly thankful for that. I’ve been photographing them since Ethan was around 6 months old. Could they be any more gorgeous?! These children, my goodness, so sweet and well mannered. They were just a joy to be around. They were all so kind to one another and let me tell you, that baby boy, he is completely doted on by his big sisters. They absolutely adore him! I also love that this family wanted to include their au pair. She’s a special part of their family and has a wonderful bond with the children, it was fun to capture.
