Shopping for beach balls. Big, big beach balls. This is what he tells me when he sits at the computer. Hilarious.
I had to wake him up because we had friends over and I didn’t want him to miss out on playing with the other 6 kids. He’d been waiting on his friends all day. Any time I have to wake him up it always turns in to a photoshoot.
Also, freaking genetics. Jason, Jude and Jonah all sleep with their hands and elbows up.

You know who Erin Hensley is right? If not, you should look her up, amazing! Anyway, she does monthly challenges for capturing different kinds of light. This months challenge is quiet light. I’m so drawn to this challenge. With 4 kids ages 18-3, quiet can be….hard to see at times. It’s much easier to spot the chaos. I had to seek it out today (outside of the house and away from the 3 boys). Quiet light…..it’s all about photographing what something feels like, instead of only what it looks like. I love that part of photography, it totally draws me in.

Adventuring at the Bullock Texas State History Museum today. Did you know you can get in free on the first Sunday of each month?

Early morning adventures in fashion with my 3 year old.
