1. Sometimes we call Teagan “duder”….long for dude which is short for Teagan Jude The Dude.

3. His hair is getting so long. I’m dying to cut it short. I totally see a faux hawk in his future. It’s just so him.

Have I told y’all lately that I am l living my dream? I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love. It never fails, I get the phone call that it is time to go and I just feel so excited…..then driving to the birth I get overcome with hope and know that the next few hours will be amazing. It’s so cool to get to experience these moments with families, to be that little fly on the wall, to get to see all the little details of the day unfold. I desperately need a new profile photo for my about me section on my new website (it is almost done – yay!) and it was at the top of my to-do list for this weekend. I really wanted to avoid the traditional headshot because I feel pretty uncomfortable on the other side of the camera. I decided it would be much more fun and reflective of ‘me’ to have a few family photos…..and that’s when it hit me……let’s do photo booth pics! Sooooo us. Silly, goofy & spontaneous! We had a blast!
