randomness

The little one is sick.  Fever, not sure why.  She never gets sick.  I can probably count the number of times she’s been sick on one hand and I’m so thankful for that.  I hate it when she is, but man is she cuddly.  Jason eats it up.  She’s quiet, it throws the entire house out of wack. Ty started a summer bowling league yesterday.  This is going to be good for him, he needed something since he didn’t want to play baseball for the first time in 6 years.  🙁  I missed it more than he did.  I’m so used to summers at the ball park, sitting in the stands, bags of peanuts, grass stained polyester….sigh.  I can’t make […]

I think he rocked it yesterday.  What do you guys think?  the sign on the old soda shop, an institution in slidell, but katrina destroyed it.  the building and this sign are about all that’s left…so sad katrina grafiti ty spotted a 20 foot old fish statue in bayou liberty.  it was huge, i have no idea what it’s for, but thought the texture looked pretty cool on this one. I think this is my favorite from the day, Old Town Slidell. I spotted this old car when we were leaving the neighborhood.  The owners happened to be outside so we stopped and asked if we could photograph it.  I think they thought we were nuts. the fun day

An entire day of fun!  Ty got to choose what he wanted to do all day today.  My mom came and stayed with the baby so we could run off and do whatever he chose with our full attention.  This morning he chose a photography lesson (love that!), then we met Jason for lunch at Olive Garden (Ty loves Balini Tea), then to Chuck E Cheese for games and fun.  After that we came home for cake and gifts.  We had a blast.  I took a ton of pics and have to tell you that Ty really rocked it with the camera this morning.  He did so good.  If he keeps at it, I can’t image where photography could take […]
