What a nightmare.  We fired our contractor today.  We had to.  What an awful experience.  The guy decided he needed to yell at me without warning, amoung other things.  I doubt he would have behaved that way if my husband would have been in the house.  Not cool.  I kicked them out of our house but before they actually left, Jase had made it home.  I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve heard Jason raise his voice at someone in the 6 years I’ve known him.  I actually don’t ever think I’ve heard him cuss at someone, but the guy deserved it.   So frustrating.  Nothing with Hurricane Katrina has been easy, so why should we be […]

Yesterday was better.  We had to go over a bunch of stuff that was done incorrectly with the house, but they fixed it.  Mostly the trim and some issues in Ty’s room, but it now looks great.  All that’s left in his room are installing the closet doors and then Jase needs to paint one wall.  I can’t wait to have it all put together in there, it’s going to looks great with all his new furniture!!  I am hopeful it will be done tonight or maybe tomorrow – yay!!
