About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Hi everyone! Thanks for following me through my move and for all your votes, feedback and thoughts on how to handle the move. As you can see, I’ve opted to keep my business and personal blog all mixed in to one. It would have been difficult for me to separate it all out, my work is intertwined, one depends on the other, and I’m so glad that almost 80% of you guys feel the same way!

For a long time I got caught up on always taking a correct photograph, even just of my kids, hanging around the house or whatever. Thankfully, over time, I’ve gotten over it. I actually take a ton of snapshots. I shoot a ton and while a lot of them land in a file called "proof once my children are older, out of the house and I’m bored in my empty nest", I do proof some and print some, but I barely ever share them so I thought it would be fun to share a few on a 10 on Tuesday post…

Ty’s Summer

Last friday Ty and I played around a bit and brainstormed ideas on how we could document his summer activities. Below are just a few of our ideas. I tried hard not to bug him too much with the camera…he’s 11 now you know! He had a great summer…..hanging out with a few new best friends, Kayleigh, Wade…going to the pool, visiting my mom…. He was very into his Legos this summer…I don’t think a single day went by that the entire bucket didn’t get dumped out onto his bedroom floor at least once. playing the Wii….Mario Kart was a big fave. Star Wars….a very Star Wars summer….the books, the clone wars movie at midnight with one of his friends […]
