About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! After a long morning, it was (((finally))) naptime. After quite a bit of encouraging I shuffled Taryn in to her room to lay down….

Taryn: Mom, you NEED to read me a book.

Mom: Taryn, it’s not nice to tell mommy what to do. You should ask nicely.

Taryn: But you NEED to read me a book RIGHT NOW.

Mom: Taryn, I’m not going to read you a book unless you can ask politely. It makes mommy sad when you talk to me that way.

Taryn: OH! Well then I will give you a hug.

((((Insert big, squeezin’ filled with love hug here))))

Over the last several days Teagan has been showing signs of having a new lovey. He’s 100% a blankie boy and it goes everywhere with him. If we happen to pick him up and leave the blankie on the floor those legs start kicking and he arches his back until you bend over and pick up the blankie. Blankie is serious stuff. It’s a must when he’s tired or ready to nurse. But, over the last few days he’s added a dog to his blankie fix. Just to be totally clear, blankie is still numero uno. I was taking a few pics of the kids this morning….

she really isn’t a morning person. she usually wakes up with random complaints and voices them ((loudly)) before anyone even has a chance for their feet to hit the floor. our auto response is “good morning taryn, how did you sleep?” or “good morning taryn, how are you?” which always results in a blank “how dare you interrupt me in the middle of my issue with such chipperness” stare. i’m hoping she’ll grow out of it. ty’s not much of a morning person either, but has gotten better through the years. she’s also been on a food strike and has lost 3 lbs. there are days for our own peace […]
