About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s been awhile since I posted something like this and I thought it was about time. Not sure how helpful it will be, but I took a few setup shots when I was over at MC’s photographing baby Tommy recently. MC had several requests for his newborn photos, one being that she wanted some of them earthy, natural and that they have a lot of texture. Finding green in the massive heatwave that is Texas right now is tough, but we did it, and with high sun! These were shot maybe around 2 pm in the afternoon, but on a large covered porch. 1. I celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday. It was a nice day, relaxed with my family, got a ton of wonderful birthday wishes, phone calls from loved ones, fun birthday mail and a nice dinner out with my favorite people in the world. Oh, and even a few new toys for my camera! All in all, a good day.

2. When i asked Taryn how old she thought I was, I about fell over when she said “FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN”. Wow, I knew it was a loaded question but sheesh!
