About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! After taking a few weeks off I kicked off my 2010 sessions tonight with a fun little mini and a gorgeous family! I have a feeling they will have way more than a few to choose from…but for now…just one little peek! Thanks guys, it was fun and a great way to start of the year!!

I’ve wanted to do this forever….go out at night and find the light. Every since I saw Jodie Allen do it over a year ago, I wanted to shoot one, and have one all to myself for just me and my husband. Tonight, I got to do both. Michele and I grabbed our hubbies and our cameras, left our kids with sitters, got all dolled up and hit the town. It was amazing and fun and we laughed and talked and ate and cuddled our husbands on the dark streets of downtown Austin. We pushed ourselves to find the light, creatively, technically. It was exactly what I needed….I’m hoping you like these M!
