About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m so excited to offer some beach sessions this summer! I normally offer Louisiana mini sessions in Old Town Slidell, but this year my parents moved. Our summer trip ‘home’ will instead be to their new home in Orange Beach, Alabama. I’ll miss my Slidell peeps this year, but we just couldn’t work it out to divide the our trip where it fell on a weekend in both places. I still can’t believe we got it, it happened so fast, I really hope they blow it up big! Belen gave me just a few frames, in the most perfect light, before starting to fuss. Thankfully, those few frames worked out! I normally try to photograph newborns in the early part of the day, but she was a rock star on this evening. 1. I feel like I’ve been living in a box tethered to my computer for the last month. This past weekend cured that. And I needed it more than even I realized. I’ve been chasing kids all day then logging on and working 12 hours. It’s catching up with me fast. Friday Jason’s parents came for a visit because they had a wedding to attend out on Lake Travis. It was perfect timing too because they were able to keep the kids Friday night while Jason and I went to see Conan O’Brien live in Austin.
