Follow along as we celebrate Jude’s 12th birthday at Dinosaur Valley State Park in central Texas. After 4 months of no adventures, we are ready for some fun! We were shocked by the dinosaur footprints we found!
Lamar Valley at sunset, strongly recommend. As we were heading in to the park yesterday evening, tons of people were heading out. And even though it meant driving home in the dark, it was TOTALLY worth it! We saw multiple black bears, a pack of wolves including pups, elk, deer, large herds of bison, pronghorn, sheep and 8 owls! Dusk is where it’s at y’all! We all voted and we are definitely doing sunset in Lamar Valley again while we are here!

The drive home at dusk was stunning and this sunset through the Roosevelt Arch was the perfect end to our day.
