About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! When they got out of the car I could not believe how big the kids had gotten! I guess that is to be expected since I haven’t seen them since the birth of their daughter. I absolutely love they nicknamed the baby Elvis (not knowing the gender). “Elvis” is a boy, who has since arrived and I just sent off their birth slideshow yesterday. My photographer friend Wendi and her family are a blast to be around. I photographed them in downtown Austin last winter and we had a lot of fun. When Wendi heard I was traveling to Houston (where they live) and that I’d opened up a session while there, she grabbed it. She knew she wanted to capture her family in their own environment, just as they are. She’s a photographer and takes wonderful photos of her family, but she wanted to be included in these too. This sweet little family booked their holiday session for this year last fall. A few months after that I got an email asking if they could swap the holiday session for a newborn session!
