About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

A few weeks ago Jase took off with Taryn to pick up Ty in the afternoon and Teagan and I stayed home to nap.  When Teagan woke up, he looked around, walked through the house and then crawled back in bed and announced “are we alone?!”  My sweet boy LOVES it when this happens.  We used to have alone time every day before we started homeschooling, and he truly misses it.  He gets excited, we snuggle and talk and play cars.  We eventually got up to go look for a snack and as I started to load the dish washer, he walked in to the kitchen doorway and said “Mom, can I get my soccer ball and go outside in […]

Every Thursday we head out to take Taryn to Equine Therapy at Open My World.  Taryn loves it.  Duder, not so much.  He wants to ride and participate too and he just gets bored.  There are lots of animals around, donkeys, goats, a cat he loves to harass, Buddy the dog.  We play cars, we sit in the sun, we wait.  Today we walked around and he entertained himself a bit by picking flowers.  I didn’t really pay much attention to what he did with them until an hour and a half later when I took him potty at the Chiropractor’s office, I noticed they were all wadded up in to a ball, still in his hand.  My Duder, […]

contemplating change

I was looking for a photo the other day and totally got lost in my blogging from 4 years ago when Teagan was a baby.  It hit me hard, this place is no longer about our day to day, chronicles of mom turned photog, being open and honest about daily life.  The hard stuff, the struggles, the mommy moments of insanity, and the good stuff, the million beautiful moments all tucked in between.  Why and when did that change?  I’ve been thinking about that a lot and I think there are a lot of different answers.  Work got busier, family got busier, it’s easier to post something quick to facebook than to blog, Teagan got sick and we moved all […]
