Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! A week or so ago I was interviewed by a reporter at The New York Times about birth photography. I was excited and so happy that something I love so much was getting national attention and possibly a larger audience. I love birth photography, I love the business side of birth photography. That’s why I founded the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers in 2010. At one time birth photographers were difficult to find in many areas and I wanted to help other moms connect with photographers in their area. I know how much Teagan’s birth photos mean to me, they are priceless, and I wanted to spread that gift far and wide.

First let me say that Miss Allison is something else. Even at 3 months old, you can see that little spark in her eyes. I know it well, I’m experienced with recognizing that little light behind the eyes that says “watch out” in my own daughter. Allison’s expressions, her scowls, the little spark, oh yes, it’s there. Make no mistake about it.

Jane and Joan *always* make me smile. Capturing them as they grow has definitely been a highlight for me. Jane decided to really ham it up on this day, I loved it! From the funny smiles to the spontaneous dance moves, so fun!
