Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! After only having one photo of me pregnant with Teagan Jude, I tried to do better this pregnancy. I didn’t break out the good camera to take belly pics, my iphone was just easier. They aren’t great pics, but they are good enough and document that I was in fact pregnant and growing! This pregnancy has been so different in so many ways. The biggest thing (outside of not being sick once instead of the entire 9 months) was not having a lot of weight gain. I gained 60 lbs with each of the other kids during pregnancy. I decided to sort through and search for some photos of my kids at their births today. Man, each feels like yesterday but it simply couldn’t have been.

I’m not a fan of “due dates”.

I’m not a fan of “due dates”. I haven’t been since long before this pregnancy. Working in the birth industry, I feel they do more harm than good. I wish they passed out “due months” instead. Doesn’t that sound so much better? It’s really all just an estimate anyway. And picking one date, it seems silly to me. And it puts a lot of pressure on the mom. The medical community uses it as an end all way to often and it frustrates me. All moms and babies are different.
