About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

Another super charged sneak peek for one of my favorite families.  I was SO excited when they decided their session this year would be at their home.  I know I sound like a broken record, but I love in home sessions.  This family was one of my first clients when we moved to Austin and I’m lucky enough to call them not only clients, but wonderful friends as well.  And I know that their home is filled with so much love.  I love all the momma snuggles we caught, and the light and oh, that last image up there.  It reminds me that these days of little people running through the […]

Can y’all hear the sweet little girl giggles in these?!  I totally can.  I love the last two photos, I asked Joan and Jim to give Jennifer big squeezy hugs, so cute!  My sweet friend turned 3, I can’t believe that much time has gone by since her birth.  I’ve loved every second of capturing her over the last 3 years and was tickled pink that she was so excited about her special birthday session with me this morning.  It was a bit later in the year than usual.  Her birthday was actually 3 weeks ago (I was so sad to miss her birthday party) and we figured out this morning […]

Y’all.  It is SO hard to photograph your own newborn.  I’ll take photographing clients alllllll day long over photographing my own.  It is SO hard to do.  You’d think it would be easier because you can time it just right, have everything set up and not be crunched for time.  The problem?  He can smell me.  Or, smell my boobs really.  I am food.  And when I’m close by, he wants to eat.  Oy, it sure makes it difficult to photograph him.  My mom helped me with this shot and it’s the one and only one we got this day.  Home boy wanted nothing to do with photos and everything to […]
