About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

Don’t let these two fool you.  95% of the time, they bicker.  And it’s making me crazy.  I often refer to them as a little old married couple, they fight when they are together and can’t stand to be apart.  After a full 30 minutes of them being home from enrichment today, the bickering was out of control.  So I decided to start something new.  Every time I hear them bickering, I called them over, had them hold both hands, face each other, look each other in the eyes and give the other a compliment.  Worked like a charm, they’d both start laughing and then feel good about the compliment they received. Jude said grace tonight.  His prayers are usually my favorite.  He thanks God for the simple things, like my smile, and I can feel him pausing to peek over at me to see if I’m smiling in response.  He’s just the sweetest.  For awhile, he was even throwing in requests for a snow day real quick right before his Amen.  Without guidance, one day a few weeks ago, my children started holding hands during grace at dinner.  Talk about making my heart swoon.

Duder reading before bed tonight.  The constant fort building in the middle of the living room was fun, but after day 5, it was driving me crazy because we had nowhere to sit.  Jase is awesome and built Taryn and Jude forts over their beds.  They were thrilled and I have my living room furniture back.  Win, win.
