About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

When you have teenagers in sports, it can become your life.  So much time and effort is put in to making it all happen.  That’s why I loved it when one of my favorite families asked to do a session celebrating what they spend their time doing together.  It’s hard to believe that I photographed the birth of 4th just a few years ago…time flies.  And I have to brag on their oldest a bit.  Not long after this shoot last fall, his team won State!  That’s a big deal in Texas!!

After several weeks off due to a foot injury I ventured out for a session tonight in my super cool moon boot. I’m so excited for Amy, Cory & Ethan. This baby is already so loved and I warned them tonight I am going to cry at the birth. I cried when they told me she’s pregnant…so yeah….crying at the birth is going to happen! And I get to photograph the first year. I couldn’t be happier for them and oh my gosh, isn’t she just gorgeous pregnant?!

This sweet family contacted me in the middle of the fall looking to book a session.  My fall is pretty busy and usually booked up months in advance but I happened to have a spot open up a few days later and boom, it worked out!  I’m so glad it did!  I love meeting new families and they were so easy and fun to photograph!  I love that they brought their beloved dog along.  It was a gorgeous evening and so fun to just explore and meander the park and Mueller area with wonderful clients!
