I still can’t believe we got it, it happened so fast, I really hope they blow it up big! Belen gave me just a few frames, in the most perfect light, before starting to fuss. Thankfully, those few frames worked out! I normally try to photograph newborns in the early part of the day, but she was a rock star on this evening. A new tradition for one of my favorite families, bluebonnets in their Easter duds. So excited to be invited along, I always love spending time with them!

Jane always makes me smile. In fact, I remember my cheeks hurting from all the smiling I did while proofing this session by the time I was done!

Ryan is 7 months old and just the happiest little guy you ever did meet. I had a few flashback moments (first photo) this morning remembering photographing his older sister at this age. Time flies.

It was a lot of fun to surprise this momma and so fun to photograph this family….I loved every.single.second of it. The good news is, she not only forgave me for the lie I told her but she’s also quickly filling up my “happy” file folder in my inbox with kind words and wonderful, thoughtful emails. Em, thank you for making me feel so good about what I do!

Now to the pics! Little miss and I are very close friends now, just ask her, she’ll tell ya 😉 I love love love getting emails from her momma about her funny little conversations about our time together.
