I’m going to do something tonight I’ve never done before. Usually sweet, thoughtful, emotion filled notes from my clients are kept private. Every now and then I’ll share one with my husband, but that is usually the extent of it. Some are hand written, some are sent via email, some make me cry, some get filed into a happy folder that I go back and read often when I’m feeling tired or burned out, some get printed out and hung above my desk. Sweet chubby Noah is one of my baby planners and oh my gosh has he changed so much! I couldn’t believe it when they got out of the car! Not only did he change a ton, but Wilson and Davis are so tall (and Davis even has curly hair…I’m pretty sure I might have even squealed in delight!). I love spending time with the Butler family, always easy and casual and fun and full of energy. To me, Noah looks so much like Davis the first time I photographed him here.

2 years ago….I didn’t know….

he’d be a huge fan of the karate chop.
he’d love to dance more than anyone I know. especially at random, odd, moments that would make everyone laugh. especially strangers.
he’d be capable of full, long conversations.
and when said conversations are constantly interrupted by a chatty older brother, he’d get frustrated and always say “Tyyyyyy, I not even talkin’ to you, I talkin’ to Maaaaama!”.
that he’d love ovals and octagons.
that it would take so long for he and taryn to find a happy place.

Wade is the 4th kid in our house. Ty’s bud that lives just a few blocks away. There are sessions that I can’t wait to run home and download and absorb the images one by one. This was one of those! In fact, I couldn’t even wait until I got home….I thumbed through my memory cards, image by image, sitting in the parking lot at the location….
