When we moved to Austin I was 5 months pregnant with Teagan. We didn’t open Life in Motion here right away, we closed the business in Louisiana and let our move linger into maternity leave. I took 6 months off to stay home with Teagan before I was itching to get back to work. Man it has been awhile since I posted a 10 on Tuesday. It’s not Tuesday, but I’m awake and have half of my wits about me so here we go….

Something new and different. For me anyway. Not new in the industry by any means. They are the perfect fit for this project, real, open, intentional, and filled with so much love for one another and their family that you can’t help but soak a little bit of it up just being around them. I knew if I ever tried to shoot a movie and a session at the same time, I’d try it on them first just to see if I could do it and do it well. Thankfully, they were game. My absolute most favorite thing about photographing my baby planners is that I get to see their new tricks and fun milestones every couple of months. Today, at 9 months old, Miss Joan was showing off her crawling, cruising and my personal favorite, waving and saying “hiiiiiiiiiiiii” to her parents, me and random strangers walking by. Babies are the best.
