Not long after I opened up for business here in Austin my client “J” found me via google and hired me to photograph their newborn daughter. Some time later, another future client “S” also found me via google and hired me to photograph the birth of her 3rd child, also a girl. 6 or so months later, J asks me to work on a fundraiser with them to benefit a family whose little boy has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I’m soooooo far behind in blogging and it drives me crazy. I’ve only posted about half of my fall sessions from 2010. I was SO beyond thrilled with Jennifer booked my second Love Light mini for Valentines Day. I’ve done more than a handful of sessions with them over the last few years but this is the first one to really focus on them. I’ve been there from births to birthdays and everything inbetween and this family holds a special place in my heart. Normally, it is all about Jane and Joan, their two beautiful girls. Love Light Night Session

I love these. Love them. Shooting downtown after dark with a couple in love is amazing. Creative and challenging and SO FUN. K & S totally rocked it! I have to tell you that they entered the contest to win a free love light mini and another couple was chosen at random. I’ll confess that their entry totally cracked Jase and I up, we laughed so hard, funny stuff! We will for sure being seeing them in the future because I’ve got a 13 year old with crooked teeth in need of fixing and S is an orthodontist (ortho360.com)! I have been looking forward to this past weekend for months. My long time online friend Emily Weaver Brown made a trip down from Seattle to visit me. I was so excited when she decided to come, we’ve known each other online for right around 6 years, from the very beginning of my business (and hers too I think). Emily is also a charter member for The Birth Experience and we decided to make it an all out get together for our little group.
