Wow, were they good to me this morning. It was one of those sessions where I sat in my car and chimped through my card because I just couldn’t wait until I got home to go through them. Amanda and Jamie, it was so great to see you guys again!

Now is the time to book if you are thinking about photos between now and the end of 2011. I took a look at my calendar this morning and I have only 1 spot open in both October and November! Turning people away always makes my heart sink, so please don’t wait, if you think you’ll want holiday photos, book soon! The rest of my year looks something like this:
June: 2 sessions open / 1 birth if due mid to late June
July: 1 session open / 1 birth
August: 4 sessions open
September: 3 sessions open (perfect for holiday photos!)
October: 1 session open / 1 birth
November: 1 session open / 1 birth
December: 2 sessions open (photos not delivered before the holidays) / […]
I’ve photographed these kiddos and their parents quite a few times through the years. Michelle had the wonderful idea that she wanted to capture her children with the amazing nanny, Lora. She’d mentioned a few times in the past just how much the kids love her and when she booked the session I knew it was going to be something really special. This little guy came to visit me from Houston today. He was smart, charming, sweet, busy and fast! Good thing I wore my running shoes 😉 I got him though, good. Our time together resulted in some of my most favorite toddler laughing photos ever. Something was very, very funny. It was either me or the talking hippo. Yeah, yeah, it was me, I just know it! Nah, who am I kidding, I can’t compare to a talking hippo and I know it. Ah well, it got the job done and we had some fun!
Sweet Savannah stole my heart this morning. She’s a girl who knows what she likes. And do you know what I like? Rummaging through her very talented interior designer mom’s stuff. Yes, it was like photographer heaven between the amazing props and furniture, the sweet baby girl and the gorgeous family she belongs to. Congratulations Ashley & Eric on your beautiful new daughter!
