He was just so dreamy. What an absolutely adorable way to start the day. I love photos. The best thing about this job, is capturing a small moment in time. And even when things change, a family grows, your baby is suddenly toddling around and no longer a tiny baby in your arm, you still have that photo. That photo won’t change, even when life and people do. I love that. I love capturing this family, they have invited me to capture so many wonderful moments for their young group over the years. ps – I do not think Mathilde shares my sentiment over random couches. She looks violated and irritated. But that kind of makes me laugh even more. HA!

I kicked off busy season this morning with one of my favorite families! These two were just the breath of fresh air I needed this morning too. I normally save the much sought after sibling shots for the gallery, but I just can’t resist these two. Emily & Donny, I had a blast with you guys this morning. Thanks for letting me follow you guys around every now and then to capture all the love your family has. It is contagious.

His real name is Harrison. If you are curious as to why he was nicknamed Elvis, go here. And his gender was such a fun surprise for everyone, I love surprise babies! This birth started out with a big pre-birth party at their house and I have to admit, I had a lot of fun. Just like at Izzy’s birth, there were a lot of laughs, a lot of smiles, and there was especially, a whole lot of love.
