12 weeks old. Already. How did that happen?! It did. Too fast. Life has been crazy and time is flying. My mom says the days are slow and the years are fast. That’s so true. My big, happy, smiling, healthy boy. We’ve learned so much about him in the first 3 months. He’s got the sweetest little demeanor, chill, funny, calm and happy, so much like Teagan Jude. Our home internet has been down for the last 2 days so this sneak peek is super late. It’s back up and running so I can finally get some work done, galleries loaded and stop squinting at my phone. The first time I photographed these two they were just barely pregnant at their love light night session. I’m sooooo excited they returned and are now my newest baby planners. Oh sweet boy, you stole my heart again this morning. With your sweet smiles, your unsteady first steps, the way you throw your arms up in the air when you are happy, your love of bubbles, the wrinkly bottoms of your feet. A whole year has gone by. Happy birthday Reagan!

ps – while I usually try to choose more portrait style images for sneak peeks, I couldn’t resist these images. We captured them at the very end of the session when we were technically finished and I was about ready to pack up. It never fails, that those last few photos are my faves, as was the case today.

7 weeks old. Huh?!? What?!? How did that happen?!? I swear he’s lost his newborn look overnight and has started looking like a baby. My mom sent Teagan Jude and Jonah the cutest snowman shirts. Love my sweet little snowman.

I’ve been photographing little miss since she was 2 and my goodness, when she got out of the car for our session I’d swear she’d grown 5 inches since last fall! From toddler to little girl in the blink of an eye! I always look forward to our sessions. She’s a funny, energetic, awesome to be around little girl. Five years old….wow….time flies!

ps – One of my all time favorite mother daughter photos was taken of these two on the same bridge in the photograph above. I love that we got to return to that same scene and capture another image of them together. Love!

It is always such a huge compliment with another photographer asks me to capture their family. Jenna and her (awesome!) family are certainly no exception. I could hardly tell her 3 beautiful girls are photographer kids! Wandering around downtown yesterday evening, our main goal was to get a few good family photos and a few genuine smiles. And we did just that! Thanks Jenna and Randy for entrusting me to capture your beautiful family, it was an honor!
