Fall is here and that means cooler mornings for sessions. I couldn’t be happier about that, this is my favorite time of year! And I had a blast photographing this beautiful family along the banks of the San Gabriel River this morning!

Bennet was welcomed with love at home on Sunday morning. His momma is a rock star and did so amazing! I got the call at 10:10 am to “go now!” I walked through the door 20 minutes later (I totally ditched Ty at the Georgetown airport during his flight lesson). Baby boy was in her arms 15 minutes later! The love and joy in this family was so immense and I loved seeing dad do skin to skin with his baby boy. Can you believe this girl is 9?! Gosh, I sure can’t. And I got to see her two weekends in a row. She chose a bowling party this year and we had a blast last weekend. My kids had so much fun, they have asked to go bowling every day since! They are so sweet to invite my family to join in their parties. Jane loves to celebrate every single bowling turn and it was fun to photograph! She has such wonderful sweet friends too. Happy birthday sweet girl!
I don’t usually blog mini sessions anymore but I just couldn’t file these away without sharing. Because THE most amazing thing happened. While photographing Corbin, he crawled for the first time ever! That top image up there is the moment and we all cheered and laughed and clapped and he thought we were all absolutely crazy. Ha! It’s so rare for a first to happen during a session that I just had to come and share!!
