I love my birthday in a huge way.  I love that it falls over a holiday weekend, I love that it is smack dab in the middle of summer, I love that my mom’s birthday is just two days later.  It always felt so special to have my birthday around July 4th, the family, the celebrations, so fun.  To help celebrate my birthday I thought it would be fun to offer up a few specials!  My favorite number is 3 so here we go:

I made a huge dent in getting organized tonight, whew!  I thought I’d come post a few (or ok, a lot) of images from various mini sessions this past spring.  I say past because it was 106 degrees here today, definitely NOT spring anymore.  I don’t normally blog mini sessions but here are a few faves I just couldn’t imagine not sharing. I have been doing my best to wade through the massive amount of email that was waiting for me when I got back from New Orleans.  My email is usually a beast anyway but I really wasn’t prepared for the effects of taking 4 days off.  It was a glorious 4 days off too!  I’d earned it with only one full day off in the last 6 months….yeah, I kind of work a lot!  I think it is one of the aspects of owning your own business AND working from home that catches up with you after awhile.  At least it does me.  There is always work to do, always something […]

Now is the time to book if you are thinking about photos between now and the end of 2011.  I took a look at my calendar this morning and I have only 1 spot open in both October and November!  Turning people away always makes my heart sink, so please don’t wait, if you think you’ll want holiday photos, book soon!  The rest of my year looks something like this:

June:  2 sessions open / 1 birth if due mid to late June
July:  1 session open / 1 birth
August:  4 sessions open
September:  3 sessions open (perfect for holiday photos!)
