Welcome to Life in Motion Photography, thanks for stopping by!  My name is Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 20 years experience.  While home for over a decade was Austin, Texas, my family and I traveled the US in an RV full time for 8 years.  Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV!  While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to 8 years before settling in the beautiful heart of Washington state in Wenatchee in 2025.

I am married (21 years!) to a wonderful man, Jason.  With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!  My website is a big mix of my personal and professional work. You’ll find it includes a lot of our travel photos as well as the photos I have taken for clients around the country.  My blog, is very much like me, all over the place, busy, creative, faith filled and real.  We love Jesus, each other, real food, national parks and home/road schooling!  You can also find us on both Instagram and Youtube.

In 2025 I received a call to ministry to serve God and His church using the talent He gave me.  I love serving and capturing holy moments and the abundant life of Christians following Jesus at Grace City Church.  You can see some of them (along with our other team members) here.

I think it’s an honor to get a glimpse of other people, to see how they live and love and to capture the real and meaningful little details of life.  I hope you’ll stick around and get to know us, and the wonderful families I get to photograph.

My award winning work has been featured in publications including People Magazine, NBC News, Parenting Magazine, Baby Talk Magazine, on greeting cards distributed world wide and many more.  I have also been featured by the National Park Service, Fulltime Families, The Cancer Society, The Joint Chiropractic and other major brands.  I’ve done interviews with People Magazine, The Today Show, Yahoo News, the New York Times, Parenting Magazine,  and numerous media news outlets around the world featuring birth photography. I am the founder and former CEO of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers, an organization that represents over 1,200 birth photographers in 50+ countries.  IAPBP was sold to Liz Cook in 2019.
