This is what happens to my photography when I have a migraine. My first one in 20 years. I had a great plan to have a family night next door at my mom’s house. Complete with dinner around the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The weather was perfect and gorgeous. I started the day with a mild headache. Practicing his flute-o-phone. He’s struggled with his music class the last 2 years. His teacher is a little intense for his personality and it’s definitely something we have had to help him work through. Her heart is in the right place. We are getting there, we’ve all made adjustments, prayed and put in effort. Learning how to get along with others, be tolerant and loving, is such a valuable lesson. He’s learning more than just music.

Hide and seek has been big around here. Jonah loves to play but isn’t so good at it. He will yell “COME FIND ME! HERE I AM!” then crack up laughing with a big cackle. He can’t stay still or hide long at all, it’s hilarious. Jude on the other hand, can play a kick butt game of hide and seek. He is so quiet, so sneaky and very patient. More than once we all give up because we can’t find him. He’ll continue to wait us out, without moving a muscle. He is seriously, so good.
