Cousin Erin and the cutest family ever.

One of the best things about traveling fulltime is getting to connect with family we otherwise wouldn’t get to see.  Jason’s dad grew up in Indiana and his uncle lives in Michigan.  We were lucky enough to see Uncle Mark, Aunt Becky, their 3 kids and their families while in Troy.  We even snuck in a little mini session for his cousin Erin and her gorgeous family while having a bbq one evening.  We’d hoped to make it a full family session with a pretty location but our time in the area was cut short due to work and a horrible campground.  I’m so glad we did, it’s fun to get people we love in front of my camera!  Could they be any cuter?!  Just a quick sneak peek, I think we still ended up with a full session worth of photos taken in her parents backyard!

Year of change.

2018 truly is a year of change. For those that don’t know, Jason was laid off from his job and his last day was Friday. It was part of a reduction in force. Insert mild panic since I just left my business behind in Austin a few months ago. He’s looking for a mid-level software developer position that allows remote work and has 17 years experience. I’ve also updated the list of cities I will be taking photo sessions in, so if you’d like to book a session, or if you’d be willing to pass my website on to someone who might, we would really appreciate it! I finally feel ready to be shooting again and my kids are super ready for me to point my camera at someone else again 😂 I’m currently taking sessions in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Oregon!
